It is possible to stop being a throwaway society but it will take time. It is always hard to change our habits but it's not impossible. It's especially visible among women. First disposable tampon was made in early 1920's and first disposable pad – nearly 30 years before. Of course they were not famous from the beginning of their existence but later they started to be VERY famous and helpful. Now everything is slowly changing. Instead of tampons women use menstrual cups and instead od disposable pads – indisposable ones. This is a hope for everyone and everything. Changes are small and slow but they are happening and this is the most important thing.
